About me



Hello! I am Kamilla Tenório. I am a Brazilian who lives in Germany. I am a researcher, developer, and educator in the field of computer science education, more specifically, artificial intelligence education.

During my professional journey, I had the opportunity to work on various multidisciplinary projects, developing and evaluating learning experiences and online learning environments for teaching computer science topics in an easy and engaging way.

I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Alagoas (with an exchange at Portland State University, USA), a Master’s in Computational Modeling of Knowledge, and I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Computer Science Education at the Free University of Berlin.

At the Free University of Berlin, I work as a Research Assistant in a project where I led the development of an AI online course for undergraduate multidisciplinary students. In this role, I defined AI competencies and designed the curriculum; developed resources such as e-books, games, simulations, Google Colabs, and multimedia content; implemented the course on Moodle and taught it over two semesters; and conducted research showing the course improved students’ AI knowledge, ethical awareness, self-efficacy, and motivation.

I am deeply motivated by creating engaging and meaningful ways for everyone to learn about AI and computer science.
